CDM Electronics Announces Fulfillment of 1,000,000th Engineered Cable Assembly
CDM Electronics has announced the manufacture and fulfillment of 1,000,000 engineered cable assemblies from their Turnersville, NJ, facility. CDM started their Value Added capabilities business segment in 1999, and purchased their current Turnersville manufacturing facility in 2007. Since that time, CDM has planned, manufactured and fully tested 1,000,000 build-to-print assemblies for the most recognized names in the aerospace, military, telecom, manufacturing equipment and medical industries worldwide. CDM also maintains a number of certifications to assure optimum quality and compliance of those products built, including ISO 9001:15, AS9100D, Nadcap, RoHS, and ITAR. “This is a huge milestone for CDM” said Nick Sarin, Assistant General Manager at CDM Electronics, “and is a testament to the trust and confidence our customers have in us.” Sarin, who came to CDM in 2010 as a Value Added Engineer, also credits the Manufacturing and Quality staff for helping build that trust, observing “CDM’s total team environment brings out the best in everyone.” Engineered cable assembly solutions built by CDM include mil/aero and commercial wire harnesses, tactical communications assemblies, power and signal cables, and RF/coaxial cable assemblies. CDM’s exclusive convertible manufacturing cells can easily and quickly accommodate lengthy cable assemblies, box builds and signature Class “L” power distribution cables. CDM’s ISO-based process controls assure consistent quality through a consultative ordering process, first-piece inspection, full electrical testing and application-specific/environmental testing performed as needed. CDM also provides engineering support to include drawing review, documentation control and manufacturing process design. Click here to view full press release
