The Burton SC (Standard Circular) line of connectors are wet pluggable connectors that can be mated in a wet environment.
These connectors feature molded bending strain relief, color coded leads and gold plated contacts included for no extra charge.

Definitions:
Pluggable: Mateable
Underwater pluggable: Connectors that can be mated underwater, for example by a diver.
Wet pluggable:Connectors that can be mated in a wet environment, but not underwater. Examples include installing instrumentation on a ROV while briefly lifted out of the water.
Dry pluggable: Connectors that must be mated in a dry environment, but then may be submerged. For example, on equipment on the deck of a ship that is subsequently submerged.
